„My life is sound“ says the musician and soundengineer from Cologne. No wonder – as he is since nearly half a century dealing with recording and mixing of sounds, sounddesign and the musical scoring of acoustic and visual scenes. Between the poles of a classical piano education and his today´s collaboration as an electronic-arts performer with the group „kraftwerk“ he unfolds his unconventional but always soulful style.

Henning was born 1953 in Wuppertal, Germany and he graduated from university as soundengineer in 1980. Since then he is engaged as a freelancer, remixer and composer. With the german copyright agency GEMA he registered over 250 works of diverse genre. Since 2007 he runs his own soundstudio X.1 in Cologne.
